Architectural Photo Walking Tour

Join Darkroom Detroit as we take a photo walking tour of some of the most iconic buildings Detroit has to offer. Detroit has often been called the Paris of the Midwest and boasts some of the most significant late-nineteenth- and early-twentieth-century buildings and skyscrapers in the nation. Detroit is also home to a number of world-renowned architects such as Albert Kahn, George D. Mason, Wirt C. Rowland and Minoru Yamasaki.

During this 2 hour walking tour walking tour will visit some of Detroit’s famous landmarks such as the Guardian Building, the Old Wayne County Building, the Penobscot Building, the Metropolitan Building among others. Please bring a good pair of walking shoes, your camera and your questions. The event is led by Thomas Grubba a commercial architectural and fine art photographer and photo educator.
