Art on the Avenue is a collaborative effort between all businesses on Livernois from 6 Mile to 8 Mile. We aim to provide a fun, art-related activities for all ages. The purpose of this event is to celebrate Detroit art and black-owned businesses. For more than a century Detroit’s Avenue of Fashion has represented a great history of a great city. This arts-inspired community, like many Detroit communities, has experienced its struggles for survival. As part of the community revitalization efforts, Livernois Alliance is supporting these activities with a spectacular arts-inspired, one-day event, in conjunction with the September Detroit Month of Design, planned on the Avenue of Fashion. Join us on Saturday, September 17, 2022, from noon to 6:00 PM for a fun-filled day that all ages can enjoy!
