MY EVENT PROPOSAL
“BRINGING IT HOME”
Designing a sustainable product that can be used at home. The daily life of a consumer is purchasing products that are practical and useful. So being able to use this product inside and outside the home is a good reason for functionality. At the end of all things are the emotional attachments that make them valuable; which is really what brings sustainability into real focus because it's a product worth keeping.
In this workshop we will be creating Nested felted wool bowls for keepsake items and things that need a catch all place. We will be using natural fibers that are kinder to the earth and the beauty of it will have a strong creative design aesthetic; which will make this project activity valuable for its consumer because they will want to keep it!
