ABOUT

Hamtramck Arts&Culture Commission will present a collective exhibition of featured works of our 12th Annual Hamtramck Neighborhood Art Festival <www.hamtramckneighborhoodartsfestival.com >, and premiere this year's HNAF poster & graphics by Kaitlin Noelle <kaitlinnoelle.com>, along with other HACC commissioned works we've recently done, like our City Official 100th Anniversary logo by Hamtramck's own known artist, Dave Toennies <tonyesdesign.com >
Along with spotlighting Art & Awareness in the Alley, and the two (2) new murals we commissioned that will start building "awareness" of what we'll be doing in the alley, just west of downtown's Jos Campau from Caniff to Holbrook, as part of our Hamtramck's - Joe Louis Greenway. <detroitmi.gov/departments/general-services-department/joe-louis-greenway>

We'd also like to have a "talk", or panel discussion with the artists & organizations we (HACC) have worked with, and the important impact "art" has made in our community, especially to drive awareness and activism.

Featured Artist: Bojan Stojčić from Sarajevo, Bosnia

Also, we will spot our nine (9) work on the DIA's Inside|Out 2022 Program and craft a walking tour.

Opening reception: Saturday, September 24, 5 p.m. - 9 p.m.
Sunday, September 25, 2022, 10 a.m. - 3 p.m.
