Michigan Chapter of the American Society of Landscape Architects (MiASLA)


LA RIDE is an adjunct to the Michigan Chapter of the American Society of Landscape Architects that provides educational credits for its members and acts as an outreach to the general public. Our purpose is the advancement of knowledge, education, and skill in the art and science of landscape architecture as an instrument of service in the public welfare. To this end, the Chapter promotes the profession of landscape architecture and advance the practice through advocacy, education, communication, and fellowship.


Detroit LA RIDE

The LA RIDE is “education in motion.” It invites people from all walks of life that are interested in how public spaces are developed. It attracts people who connect with parks, history, architecture and urban spaces due to the innovative projects than connect with the public. The ride usually consists of 4-5 major stopping points where a lecture is provided followed by Q/A. Continuing educational credits are available upon request.
