Detroit Window Design Classic (DWDC) is a design competition that pairs artists/designers with small business owners to develop elaborate window displays to promote their product. Designers will get a stipend, props, and lighting to help them get as creative as they want to be. This event will take place in Detroit’s Grandmont Rosedale neighborhood. Start your tour at Norwest Gallery of Art, where you can pick up a map of participating storefronts. Nothing is more exciting than a little competition, and this time you can be the judge. The artist with the best storefront window wins $500.
