Detroit is a City that is rapidly changing and its aesthetic is being influenced by some of the world’s most renowned architects and designers. However, we often find that designers of color are often overlooked for their talent and contributions to the evolving landscape — particularly those who are native to Detroit. For Month of Design, Rivet Design Collective is hosting a panel discussion that will highlight multicultural artists, interior designers and architects and the important contributions they are making to the design aesthetic of a re-emerging City.
The event will be hosted inside of SpaceLab, a co-working space dedicated to architects and designers of color in Detroit, serving as a perfect location for the topic. Attendees will not only learn from some of Detroit’s most talented multi-cultural designers, artists and architects, they also will witness how a community of bad-ass creatives have come together to create a network of support to elevate their collective voices in a City destined for greatness.
Join Rivet Design Collective for a night of learning with good people and enough creative vibes to inspire for many days thereafter!
