The Solanus Casey Center’s recently completed building addition will give attendees an opportunity to learn about the unique design collaboration that resulted in a space that welcomes visitors from near and far and reflects the mission of Blessed Solanus Casey, who spent his life in the service of people. As porter of the Detroit monastery door, he met thousands of people from every age and walk of life, earning recognition as "The Doorkeeper." The new welcoming space was designed to provide visitors the opportunity to purchase items related to the life and spirituality of Blessed Solanus Casey, a candidate for sainthood in the Roman Catholic Church.
