Get messy, give back at Detroit Dye House’s Sole Project Sundays! Dive headfirst into a world of color while together we make something beautiful for someone who needs it. Each session will focus on a specific design aspect of tie-dye and a different item to work with that will be donated, exploring the idea of how design changes when we create for someone else, and how beauty can transform the functional into something powerfully positive.

Sunday, September 18th - Item: Socks
Recipient: Crossroads of Michigan
Design Focus: The classic twists and binds of tie-dye
Sunday, September 25th- Item: Bandanas
Recipient: Happy Paws Haven Animal Rescue
Design Focus: The technique of ice dyeing
Participants are asked to please RSVP in advance for accurate supply count and set-up. Sessions are open from 1-3 PM, and are drop-in style. No need to bring anything, but be sure to wear clothes you don't mind getting messy in! Each participant will receive a commemorative t-shirt and light refreshments will be available. Come to one session, or all three!
