Wasserman Projects invites you for an opening reception to kick off the start of our exhibition season this Fall. The featured artists in the exhibition include Brooklyn-based Summer Wheat and Japan-based Hirosuke Yabe. Wheat’s narrative works are inspired by the individual and collective human experience which will be presented through a body of highly textured paintings, drawings, and functional sculptures. Also inspired by human condition, Yabe will be producing a large scale site-specific environment that will be filled with a series of his figurative wood carvings. The opening reception is free and open to the public and will take place on Friday, September 27, 2019 from 6-9pm. Come out to see the work and meet the artists!
The exhibition is on view through December 21, 2019.
