Hosted by the Detroit Design Network, Design and Dine is a lunch lecture series where Detroit Design Network members share their industry expertise with an audience.  Each 50 minute lecture, program, or workshop aims to connect designers, share knowledge, and help attendees build a wide range of design-based skillsets.

Our June session features a workshop from multi-media production company Three Lyons Creative.  Titled “4 Simple Ways to Improve Your Business’s Social Content Using Your Phone”, the Three Lyons Team will share key insights into creating your best online content.  “The best camera is the one you have with you.” As marketing professionals, there is an endless stream of Instagrammable moments—candid shots in the office, fast action team building activities, heartwarming expressions at events—if we can catch them. In this workshop, Three Lyons will make sure that when you grab your smartphone to document the moment, you’re using it to its greatest potential.

Presented by Lucia Wylie Eggert, a Detroit-grown designer specializing in graphic design, layout, and branding. She gathered her tools at Loyola University Chicago where she studied Visual Communication and Advertising/Public Relations. She got her career start in Chicago at FleishmanHillard, a global PR agency, and All Points Public Relations, a start up. Lucia brought her skills and passion home to Detroit in 2014 where she leads new business and project management for video production company Three Lyons Creative. Lucia's strongest asset is her positive, unrelenting energy. This helps her make fast-paced, deadline-driven creative spaces feel more adventurous and daring, accomplishing goals without sinking into stress. In her spare time, Lucia serves on the board for the Secret Society of Twisted Storytellers, lays out the pages for Riverwise Magazine, and instructs youth dance at the Boll YMCA.
