Murals in the Market was recently named one of the best mural festivals in the world by the Smithsonian! In addition to live mural painting the festival also hosts many events including panel discussions,  meet and greet opportunities, tours, installations, a block party featuring DJ Jazzy Jeff, and nightime events that coincides with Detroit Design Festival and culminates with Eastern Market After Dark!
