Design Core, in partnership with Bedrock, is honored to announce the return of Shop and See during the Detroit Month of Design, September 1st - 30th 2023. Shop and See, is a partnership that pairs local designers and brands with downtown retail shops to exhibit their work, drive traffic to the stores, and give people a chance to “See'' and "Shop" from a collection of Detroit businesses and makers.

The Shop and See program has three components, design installations, a one day shopping experience, and an opportunity to meet design influencers. With the help of Bedrock and their retail tenants selected for the program, 10 designers have been awarded the opportunity for brand collaborations and showcases during the design festival. The installations and events will be clustered around Downtown Detroit’s retail core. Shop and See connects local designers to retailers, creating new relationships, learning opportunities while connecting retailers to the community, raising awareness of and elevating their businesses. In addition to the installations, Design Core and Bedrock will host a one-day shopping experience and walking tour on Saturday, September 23rd, called “Shop Downtown Detroit.” The walking tour will include opportunities to meet design influencers at a “Shop and Sip” event plus in-store promotions.
