The UNESCO City of Design designation is more than an honor, it is about the connections to doers and thinkers around the world. We were so happy to host our fellow UNESCO Cities of Design this past September during Detroit Month of Design and receive this message from Piah Choo YEO and Flora TOH from the DesignSingapore Council.

Thank you for being amazing hosts and for organising such a well-planned programme for the UNESCO Creative Cities of Design this past September. It was great to see more and learn widely about your wonderful city. It was also very heartening to see that you have such strong support from the private and public sector communities, as well as the faculty members of the institutions. A job well done indeed to the Design Core Detroit team!
