Design Core Detroit launched the 2025 season of Drinks x Design with a spotlight on UX/UI, animation, and digital storytelling. Held at Duolingo’s Detroit headquarters, the event welcomed creatives, technologists, and arts and culture supporters for an inside look at digital design in practice.

Studio tours and showcases by Duolingo, Hobbes, Gunner School, and Boxfort Detroit gave attendees a window into design workflows, character animation, and interactive product development.

The evening also featured local vendors and creative businesses including José Maldonado of Pink Teddy, Modish Creative Co, Sophie Boysen, Eric Wilson, Periodicals Shop, and Archive Detroit, along with tacos from El Caballo and a DJ set by wrckleskoscar.
