Join us for the second Drinks x Design of 2026, with the theme of Product Design in Detroit: Color and Materials, hosted at Vander Detroit.

The historic Milwaukee Junction factory was built in 1935 as an electrical control manufacturing plant. Over the years it has been home to a Machine Shop (1946-56), a distribution warehouse (1958-62) and graphic design firm specializing in printing and engraving (1963-2023).

Today, the space serves an industrious community of creatives, including SYNECDOCHE, the architecture and design studio behind the building's redevelopment and design updates.
